I haven't written here since the day the book came out. Coming back from holidays, the children going back to school, with important milestones for the eldest and the youngest, and the launch all landed at once, and new writing was the first thing to give way. New essays in November. Already some ideas brewing about "compliments". Until then, two dates, both in Portugal and both in Portuguese.
On Thursday 8 October at 6pm, at Livraria Almedina do Rato in Lisbon (Rua da Escola Politécnica, 225), Gonçalo M. Tavares will talk with me about A Era da Pós-Profundidade. I am still not sure I believe the sentence I just wrote (he's is one of my literary idols and, definitely, one of my favourite writers of all time).

On Saturday 10 October at 5pm, at Fnac NorteShopping in Porto, the book is presented by José Romão de Sousa, an engineer who spent decades in industry and in 1999 founded the Fundação Romão de Sousa, which cares for people with severe mental illness.

On Sunday 8 November at 5pm, at Fnac Gaia, a presentation moderated by Sofia Miguens, philosopher at the University of Porto. Sofia is a wonderful communicator, clear and sharp thinker, that I know will give me a hard and wonderful time dismembering some of my ideas.
All three are free.
Yesterday I was on Prova Oral, on Antena 3, live with Fernando Alvim. The episode is in the Antena 3 podcast: rtp.pt/play/podcasts/antena3 and YouTube.
